Joining Princeton Girlchoir

The Princeton Girlchoir is seeking girls of all experience levels! A strong desire to learn, a musical ear, and an eagerness to share music with others are key to a successful audition. Any girl who will be entering grades 3-12 next fall is warmly welcomed.

Our auditions are low-key and enjoyable. We want singers to be relaxed so that they can show us their best abilities! This year, girls will be asked to sing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," to sing some exercises that demonstrate their vocal range, and to complete a few musical challenges to help our music directors understand their current level of musical ability. No advance preparation is required. We accept as many girls as we are able, and place them in the choir in which they will be most successful.

Auditions for our six 2011-12 choirs will run from April 16 to June 9, and we have begun accepting applications and setting appointments. On May 14 the location is the Princeton Girlchoir office; for all other audition dates the location is the Princeton Day School. Please see the links on the left of this page for our application form (to be printed and mailed together with the audition fee) and the online appointment scheduler.

As of 6/4/2011: to schedule an audition or to change an existing audition, please call the PGC office: 609-688-1888.
