Handbell Sessions

Learn how to properly play handbells while learning a variety of music with an emphasis on building music reading skills. The class will culminate in a performance of music learned. The instructor is Stefanie Watson, PGC accompanist and Handbell Choir Director at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New Brunswick. Open to 9th - 12th grade boys and girls in CC/CA/EN/YME. Space is limited to 11 students.

Class Requirements:
Students should have experience at reading music at an intermediate or advanced level. No previous handbell playing experience is required. Because of the cooperative nature of a handbell choir, attendance is very important, and absences should be kept to a minimum.

*All students must be available to perform at the Princeton Boychoir Holiday Concert on Saturday, Dec. 7th at 7:00pm.

Class Comittment: September 25th - December 4th (no rehearsal on November 27th)
Time: Wednesdays from 5:15 - 6:15pm at Westrick Music Academy
Tuition: $175 for the 10-week session. Click here to download the need-based scholarship application.
