Auditions for the 2016-2017 season are now complete. We may hold more auditions later in the summer if space allows. If you would like to sign your chorister up for our audition wait list, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (609) 688-1888.
What to Expect in Your Audition
Any girl who will be entering grades 3-12 the next fall is warmly welcomed. Auditions will take place at Princeton Day School, 650 Great Road, Princeton. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your schedule audition time. The audition will last approximately 10 minutes.
During this time, the directors will ask the singer questions to get to know them. You do not need to prepare any music for this audition. You will be asked to sing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat,” then the directors will then check your vocal range and ability to match musical patterns. Finally, you will be asked to sight-read a brief musical passage based on your ability level.
Relax and have a good time! We’re singers too, and we know how nervous you feel. It’ll be okay, we promise.
